This evening we once again had a substitute so we could work on organizing our display board. We printed out several color photos that we will be using in our PhotoStory 3 presentation, and some of the photos we already have on our blog.
In addition, we drafted a paper copy of the layout of the display board. Tomorrow we are going to speak with a couple of the staff who have graphics experience to get their advice on the layout and color choices for the type.
While we were working this evening we began a list of questions for our supervisor that ranged from technical questions regarding software for the laptop we are bringing, to why we can't print the whole home page information. We called and left a message on her work phone asking if we could talk to her tomorrow, perhaps on speaker phone, so we can put those matters to rest.
We also marked our calendar to make sure we charged the laptop on November 7th so it would be all ready for the 8th. And we decided the date/s we would do our dress rehearsal.
In addition, we talked once again about getting substitutes or laying out designated days so that we could work on the brochure. We are going to try to do that for about an hour or so tomorrow morning, while we have our part-time person here work the desk.
That's it for now. At least we didn't get too giggly this evening, just enough to keep us going.
